Join the Extensions Lab CSP Resale Program
Resell Extensions Lab TMS licenses through Microsoft CSP and earn a 40% partner margin on eligible TMS plans.
Extensions Lab helps Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central partners create recurring software revenue from transportation management projects.
Qualified CSP Direct Bill partners and Indirect Providers can receive a 40% CSP private-offer margin on eligible Extensions Lab TMS license subscriptions. This allows you to package Business Central, TMS licenses, implementation services, support, and managed services under your own customer relationship.
You continue to own the customer relationship, commercial conversation, pricing, billing, and implementation services. Extensions Lab provides the Business Central-native TMS apps, AppSource listings, partner enablement, documentation, and second-line product support.
What is a CSP private offer?
A CSP private offer is a Microsoft Marketplace mechanism that allows an ISV to provide a private margin to eligible partners in the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider program.
Extensions Lab configures the private offer in Microsoft Partner Center, selects the eligible TMS products/plans, sets the partner margin, defines the private offer duration, and authorizes the CSP partner tenant.
Microsoft supports CSP private offers for several offer types, including Dynamics 365 Business Central.
How it works
-
You request CSP resale access
Submit your company details, Microsoft Partner ID, CSP role, Microsoft Entra Tenant ID, and the TMS products you want to resell. -
We verify your CSP partner type
CSP private-offer margin can be extended directly to CSP Direct Bill partners and Indirect Providers. If you are an Indirect Reseller, we need the Tenant ID of your Indirect Provider / Distributor. -
Extensions Lab creates a CSP private offer
We create a CSP private offer in Microsoft Partner Center, select the eligible Extensions Lab TMS plans, and configure the agreed partner margin. -
Your CSP tenant is authorized
We add the eligible CSP partner tenant to the private offer. Microsoft lets ISVs search CSP partners by name or tenant ID when creating the CSP private offer. -
You see the margin in Partner Center
Once the private offer is live, the CSP partner can view available margins in Partner Center. Microsoft says margins are automatically applied when the CSP partner purchases the product for a customer through Partner Center. -
You sell TMS to your customer
The CSP partner purchases the TMS subscription for the customer and handles final customer pricing and billing outside Microsoft Marketplace. -
Licenses are assigned in the Microsoft ecosystem
For Business Central offers, CSP partners can purchase through Partner Center, and licenses can be managed and assigned in Microsoft 365 admin center.
Who can join?
CSP Direct Bill partners
Direct Bill partners can receive the CSP private-offer margin directly if they are eligible and can be found in Microsoft Partner Center as a CSP partner. Best for partners that already manage customer subscriptions, billing, pricing, and support directly through CSP.
Indirect Providers / Distributors
Indirect Providers can receive the CSP private-offer margin directly and make Extensions Lab TMS licenses available through their resale model. Best for distributors and providers that support multiple Business Central resellers or regional ERP partners.
Indirect Resellers
Indirect Resellers cannot receive the CSP private-offer margin directly from Extensions Lab through Microsoft Partner Center.
If you are an Indirect Reseller, you can still participate, but the CSP private offer must be extended to your Indirect Provider / Distributor. You should coordinate with your provider on customer pricing, billing, and how the margin is shared between you and the provider.
Microsoft states that ISVs can extend margins only to partners billed by Microsoft, such as Direct Bill partners and Indirect Providers; Indirect Resellers need to work through their Indirect Providers.
What partner margin do we offer?
Extensions Lab offers a 40% CSP private-offer margin on eligible TMS license plans for approved CSP resale partners.
Important:
-
The 40% margin is extended to the eligible CSP transacting partner tenant.
-
For Direct Bill partners, this is normally the Direct Bill partner tenant.
-
For Indirect Providers, this is the provider / distributor tenant.
-
For Indirect Resellers, the margin is technically extended to the Indirect Provider, not directly to the reseller.
-
Any commercial split between an Indirect Provider and its Indirect Reseller is handled between those parties outside Microsoft Marketplace.
Microsoft’s CSP private-offer model is designed so the CSP partner sets the final customer price and invoices the customer outside Microsoft Marketplace; the customer does not see the ISV-to-CSP margin.
What TMS products can partners resell?
Approved CSP resale partners can request access to resell eligible plans for:
-
Shipper TMS - For manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers that need delivery planning, truck load planning, routes, drivers, own fleet, hired carriers, dispatch, and freight cost control inside Business Central.
-
TMS for Logistics Service Providers - For freight forwarders, brokers, 3PL teams, and logistics service providers that need Forwarding Orders, Freight Orders, carrier execution, settlement, customer invoicing, cost allocation, and margin control inside Business Central.
What happens next?
After you submit the request:
-
We review your partner profile and CSP role.
-
We confirm whether you are a Direct Bill partner, Indirect Provider, or Indirect Reseller.
-
If you are an Indirect Reseller, we confirm your Indirect Provider / Distributor route.
-
We configure the eligible TMS plans and the 40% CSP private-offer margin in Microsoft Partner Center.
-
Once the private offer is live, the eligible CSP partner can view the margin and purchase TMS licenses for customers through Partner Center.
Microsoft notes that CSP private offers do not require a separate acceptance step from the CSP partner or customer; CSP partners check available margins in Partner Center and then sell the products to customers.
